BLESSED!!!

Today Adam & I were totally blessed. Out of nowhere a friend of Adam's from work called and said he had some end tables he needed to get rid of...so we're like "ok" I mean we need anything we can get so we went and it turned out that he and his dad had done some negotiating and long story short Adam's friend got brand new furniture, his dad got his old furniture and Adam and I got his dad's furniture. It is so pretty and nice!!! And I'm soooo excited.

Wedding Planning...coming along.

So I've gotten alot done as far as the wedding goes!! I thought at first that I would never get anywhere, it was all just soooo overwhelming. But I've actually made quiet a bit of progress. The date is July 2, 2011 (and I'm sweating just thinking about it lol.) We've also picked the church and the reception site & catering. Our colors are coral, peach, cream, brown & celery. I know that's alot of colors, but I mostly chose them as accents, they just kinda go together. (p.s. not our save the dates.)
But most importantly, I found my dress!!!!! And...it's already here!!! It's AMAZING, and beautiful, and perfect & here!!! I absolutly can't wait to wear it. So that's my progress...my to-do list is still much longer than the items that I've been able to check off. But we'll see how it goes. =)

Our Engagment Story

Ok, so before I start I just want to make it known, that even as much as I talked about getting engaged and married, Adam never gave me any kind of a hint of when he was going to propose. So I had absolutly no idea that he was going to propose.

So, on the night of November 13, 2010 (the night before our anniverssary) Adam decided to take me out to dinner for the occasion to my favorite restaurant. We got almost completely through dinner when Adam asked me if I wanted my present now or later. I was a bit thrown off because we had decided not to do gifts this year, so I told him I wanted him to give it to me whenever he wanted to. So he had me close my eyes and when he told me to open them, he was by my side on one knee with the ring sitting perfectly on the edge of the table. He asked me if I would marry him and I couldn't do anything but cry and shake my head YES!! We hugged for what felt like forever and I when I was able to talk again, I told him "yes, yes yes"!! We couldn't be more excited and in love. It's a true high school sweethearts story & I can hardly wait to marry the man of my dreams and my best friend!

Blogging Baby

I am a brand new blogger with absolutely no idea what I'm doing, so any suggestions or helpful hints are welcome. My goal for this blog is to talk about my wedding planning, vent about wedding planning, and even get ideas and pointers. So I guess this is my first blog hope it gets better!! =)  Enjoy
